Ed Reed’s wonderful foundation has brought attention to
itself from the BackNine Network. The article I will discuss is written by
Glenn Younes and describes the individuality and greatness that the Ed Reed
Foundation achieves at every event it takes part in.
The Article “For Ed Reed, Golf Fuels Giving” first
describes the outstanding performance that Ed Reed has had on and off the field
throughout his athletic career. Then Younes talks about Ed’s purpose of the
annual charitable golf fundraisers, which is to raise money for those that are
impoverished and in need of help and doing it while enjoying the wonderful
sport of golf. He also talks about why Ed Reed loves golf so much. Younes
explains Ed’s perspective on how golf is like life and how the game can help
you appreciate how short and lovely life can be. Younes then takes part in
honoring the charitable golf events as unique and special in their way of
donating money to those in need. Younes also in his article, appreciates all
the other charitable events that the Ed Reed Foundation has taken part in such
as the Annual Football Camps for
Children in New Orleans, LA and in Baltimore, MD, the fitness day at Booker T.
Washington Middle School and the Fitness Day at The Seed School of Maryland.
I believe that Glenn Younes does a marvelous job explaining
Ed Reed’s purpose for the charitable golf events that take place in New Orleans, L.A. and Baltimore, M.D. Ed
Reed is a one of a kind individual that feels tremendous responsibility for the
well being of all people. I feel that Ed is doing an excellent job with all of
the charitable events he organizes. This article has taught me that Ed Reed is
a great human being that has a natural willingness to reach out and help those
people that are in need.
